Dr. Izenberg tries to keep himself healthy, too. He watches what he eats—with ample portions of fruits and vegetables—and exercises most days. His normal activities include biking, swimming, and working out in the gym. And he doesn’t smoke. Dr. Izenberg says he started the website because he has always been interested in education and communicating health information to children and families. His timing could not have been better. In 1995, the internet was taking off and KidsHealth took off with it.
