Dr. Winston says passenger safety sticks with her when she goes home from her workday as scientific director of her hospital’s Center for Injury Research and Prevention. She says she is a safe, alert driver and her seat belt fits her well. From her work, she hopes children will learn how to stay safe, because then they can grow up to be smart and successful.
