Healthy NewsWorks is excited to announce that our Building a Healthy Future campaign has surpassed $803,000 in contributions and pledges as of December 31, 2025. Our fall 2025 fund drive was a big success and helped put us well on our way toward our goal of raising $1 million by June 30, 2026. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this effort!
The Building a Healthy Future campaign is a three-year effort focused on expanding the number of students in our programs and deepening the Healthy NewsWorks experience for entire school communities in Grades K to 8 while engaging with families, friends, and neighbors and strengthening teacher skills.
As 2026 begins, our reporters are focused on the theme “Making Healthy Connections.” They are researching, interviewing, and writing for their school newspapers and the Spring 2026 edition of By Kids, For Kids magazine. (See last year’s magazines and other student work here.)
