Ryne Anthony

Ryne Anthony is a co-founder and director of innovation at Fluxspace, which works with schools and communities to help people grow fresh vegetables and fruit indoors. He is a former eighth-grade teacher and describes himself as passionate about creating new learning experiences and environments for learners of all ages.

Karen Braun, M.S.L.

Karen Braun is director of Environmental Sustainability for Quest Diagnostics, a clinical laboratory company that performs diagnostic testings to help doctors and patients make good health decisions. Her role includes environmental data management and analytics and a green energy program. She holds a master’s degree in sustainability leadership.

Kristen Feemster, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Kristen Feemster is executive director of Global Medical and Scientific Affairs for Merck, a pharmaceutical company that makes vaccines and medicines, and an associate director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has a longstanding interest in public health and a commitment to improve health outcomes for children.

Arlene Notoro Morgan

Arlene Notoro Morgan was a reporter and editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer for more than 30 years and later joined the faculty of the Columbia University School of Journalism and served as assistant dean of the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University.

Baratunde Thurston is a TV host, writer, podcaster, and producer. His TV show on PBS, “America Outdoors,” explores the country’s diverse landscapes and how they shape our outdoor lives. He is also the executive producer and host of “How to Citizen with Baratunde,” which seeks to inspire people to improve their communities.
