Healthy NewsWorks students will publish over 40 school newspapers this year. We are seeking volunteers with layout experience to help edit and design them.
The newspapers are designed using Canva or Microsoft Publisher and are displayed as 8½-by-11-inch publications in print and PDF formats. Most publications are 2 or 4 pages. Newspapers typically are printed between late November and mid-May.
Deadlines will be tailored to volunteers’ schedules and availability. Volunteers will work primarily from a remote location, but there will be opportunities to visit classrooms and interface with students and programming.
