One of the greatest joys of our program is seeing a young person accomplish something meaningful, as well as challenging.
Katelynn is one such student. She started with our program as a third grader, and continued last year, building her interviewing and writing skills. She also was a core member of our “How We Heal” film crew and contributed to our 2022 book. She told us that participating in Healthy NewsWorks has helped her both at home and at school.
“My experience with Healthy NewsWorks has been AMAZING!” Katelynn wrote. “What I mean by this is: It’s helped me improve in behavior and with my education.”
