Check out new kid-focused activities and videos about Making Good Decisions on the Teachers & Parents section of our website. The new materials are available on our Teachers page, expanding the free resources available to educators and families from Healthy NewsWorks.
The free activities help students build decision-making, health literacy, and critical-thinking skills through simple, ready-to-use lessons. Any teacher or parent anywhere can use the materials in classrooms or at home.
The resources can be used to help students think through choices, understand consequences, and apply their learning to everyday situations. Teachers can add them to lesson plans, while families can use them to start conversations about health, safety, and responsible decision-making.
The Making Good Decisions page is part of a broader set of resources from Healthy NewsWorks. Additional sections include Caring for Our Community and Ourselves, Caring for Our Earth and Ourselves, and How We Heal, offering more hands-on resources connected to health, media literacy, and student learning beyond the classroom.
Teachers and families can explore and download the free materials on the Making Good Decisions page and across the Teacher and Parent platform.
