A Conversation with Angela Duckworth will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Friends Select School, 1651 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The event is a collaboration between Healthy NewsWorks and Friends Select School.

Dr. Duckworth is the author of the newly released book, Situated, which focuses on how to understand, shape, and use your situations to bring out your best. She is a psychologist, MacArthur Fellow, and the Rosa Lee and Egbert Chang Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She also is the author of Grit, published in 2016. 

Dr. Duckworth’s talk will also include a short interview by some Healthy NewsWorks student reporters and questions from the audience.
