Bring a family engagement workshop to your school or community

Bring a Family Engagement Workshop to your school or community during the 2026–27 school year. Schools, parent organizations, libraries, and community groups can choose from six interactive workshops that help children and caregivers learn together about nutrition, stress, school-day routines, and the digital world.

Healthy Bites: Snack Detectives gets families investigating food labels, comparing snacks, and learning about sugar and fiber. The Snack Smart Pop-Up gives families a quick, hands-on opportunity to prepare nutritious snacks together.

Calm Mornings + Connected Families = Great School Days focuses on sleep, screen use, routines, and communication that can support successful school days. Calm & Connected helps children and caregivers talk about stress and identify healthy ways to respond to it.

Two workshops focus on navigating technology and information. Raising Smart Digital Citizens helps families identify trustworthy information and understand how social media, algorithms, and artificial intelligence shape what they see online. Guiding Kids in the Digital World jumpstarts family conversations about screen use and online experiences. Families will discuss shared expectations and develop a family media plan.
