November 2018 … Voting has ended in the 2018 Be Well Philly Health Hero Challenge. A huge shoutout and THANK YOU to all who voted for Healthy NewsWorks Executive Director Marian Uhlman over the past few months!

The Health Hero Challenge is sponsored by Philadelphia magazine and Independence Blue Cross to recognize people and organizations that encourage others to participate in a healthy and active lifestyle.

Marian was among 10 semifinalists selected from hundreds of nominees for an initial round of voting in September and early October. And she was one of three finalists announced November 1, leading to a second round of voting.

The sponsors will announce the voting results the night of November 27 and will donate $10,000 to a charity designated by the grand prize winner and $2,500 each to charities designated by the two runners-up.
