Why humor matters

By Caitlin, MaST Community Charter School Healthy Panther Post | Imagine you are with your friends or family laughing about something they said. Humor is something that boosts your mood and makes you laugh or happy. People describe humor as when you’re feeling positive or carefree when you’re laughing. You can even cheer someone with your humor by making them laugh or making jokes! A time that humor probably has helped a lot of people is by making them have a good time, or making people smile when they’re upset. My advice for people when they’re upset and need a little bit of humor is to remind them to be positive and to smile. To close out this reflection, humor is a really great way to comfort, cheer up, or make someone laugh! It can help more than you know!
