Congratulations on your child’s involvement with Healthy NewsWorks.
We’d like to begin by telling you a bit about our program; you’ll then be directed to give your consent for us to share your child’s work as described below.
Healthy NewsWorks seeks to increase school and community awareness about health, fitness, nutrition, and safety. In schools, our student reporters are involved in a range of newspaper and digital-media activities and projects, such as conducting interviews, research, writing articles, and creating illustrations.
We would love to offer your child independent reporting assignments and to include their work in our publications. By contributing to By Kids For Kids, your child will become a Healthy NewsWorks correspondent.
We know how proud our students are when their work is shared on their school’s website or social media. With your consent, Healthy NewsWorks may share your student’s writing and photographs in its health newspapers, on its website, on its social media, and through e-newsletters and other communications. If you are comfortable with our doing so, please click the button below and complete the form.
Please email Mia Blitstein, Program Manager, if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
