Sign up today for the 2017 book-launch event!

April 2017…Registration is now open for our 2017 book-launch event. Sign up online by 5/24 or use this form that you can print and mail in. Help us celebrate the launch of Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2017, a new book of stories by Healthy NewsWorks student journalists about Philadelphia-area leaders who are making our communities healthier and safer. This year’s leaders include an anti-violence advocate, a sports medicine expert, and the director of the Vaccine Education Center at CHOP (see the full list of 2017 health leaders here).

The book launch will take place on Wednesday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Avenue, Merion Station, PA 19066. The cost to attend is $50 person, and all proceeds directly benefit Healthy NewsWorks. The registration deadline is 5/24.

At the event you will get your copy of the book, have it signed by student authors, and meet the community health leaders featured in the book. You will also learn more about Healthy NewsWorks overall and see what our health publications are accomplishing in our communities.
