April 2016…Registration is now open for our 2016 book-launch event. Sign up online or use this form that you can print and mail in. Help us celebrate the launch of Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2016, a new book of stories by Healthy NewsWorks student journalists about Philadelphia-area leaders who are making our communities healthier and safer. This year’s leaders include a science educator, a public health expert, an antiviolence advocate, and a cystic fibrosis trailblazer (see the full list of 2016 health leaders here).

The book launch will take place on Tuesday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Avenue, Merion Station, PA 19066. The cost to attend is $50 per person. Or consider becoming a sponsor!

Sign up now. All proceeds directly benefit Healthy NewsWorks.

At the event you will get your copy of the book, have it signed by student authors, and meet the community health leaders featured in the book. You’ll also learn more about Healthy NewsWorks overall and see what our health publications are accomplishing in our communities.
